The Bothy is situated on the grounds of Snape Hall; a traditional Suffolk long house built in 1556. 

This very lovely self catering holiday cottage has a stunning open plan design with bright contemporary interior throughout, based around a Scottish theme. Essential amenities are provided including a fridge, microwave, large electric oven and a slimline dishwasher. You may also have the pleasure in using the Villager wood burning stove, handmade marble stone work top and whitened oak flooring.

'Annual Asparagus Feast' Brick Kiln Barn

 Best of Suffolk were delighted to celebrate the Annual Asparagus Feast at the Brick Kiln Barn in Badingham on Sunday 12th May. Alex Tarry the director at the Best of Suffolk completed the 'field to fork' challenge in delivering the locally produced asparagus to the event in the fun and stylish Morris Minor. 

... and so the feast began!!!

Welcomed by the local community and a bustling atmosphere, Best of Suffolk where ready to delve in  and spark their taste buds.  All the Asparagus and meats supplied by Mik Bedson (top left) were fresh and locally sourced but best of all it tasted great!!

Best Of Suffolk take great pride in supporting local businesses and the community and had the pleasure in taking an active part in trying out the sumptuously grilled asparagus along with a variety of locally supplied meat such as rare breed pork and lamb served by the very talented chef Peter Harrison.

The Annual Asparagus Feast was a  great day out and really brought the community together whilst supporting local small businesses and enjoying the benefits of freshly grown and delicious foods, just one of the attractive aspects of Badingham village.

Annual Asparagus Feast!

Best of Suffolk are passionate about everything Suffolk and especially supporting local suppliers and producers so they were delighted to be able to take part in the Brick Kiln Barn Annual Asparagus Feast! 

The event is taking place on Sunday 12 May 2013 at 12.45pm and tickets are available via the Brick Kiln Barn website - a sumptuous lunchtime feast of local asparagus, rare breed pork/local lamb/vegetarian options and a seasonal dessert will be served by resident chef Peter Harrison. So how are Best of Suffolk getting involved...well here is a clue!

Best of Suffolk Director Alex Tarry has accepted the challenge of racing the locally produced, fresh asparagus from field to fork and he is going to do it in style.  The tender tips and succulent stems will be collected from the field and raced in Best of Suffolk's vintage Morris Minor to the kitchens at the historic setting of Brick Kiln Barn.
