UNDY500 Arctic Challenge 2013

Best Of Suffolk are back on the road... Again!

Our charity run was so successful last year raising over £16,000, that we're taking on the  challenge again! This September Alex Tarry and friend Simon James will be completing the Undy 500 Arctic Challenge! Driving up to 2,500 miles for 6 days in an old banger from Ipswich to Helsinki via Amsterdam in a car costing no more than £500 with only minor repairs allowed! All this is in aid to raise money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance and The St Elizabeth Hospice!

 The Vintage Open Day

It was really lovely to see some of our guests staying in Aldeburgh coming along to our Vintage Open Day, it was just as nice to have local residents passing through to take a look inside the magnificent property.  We even had the privilege of the Mayor of Aldeburgh coming to visit the property!

The day took a great start with the sun-shining through out the day and a continuous flow of people coming to visit. Of course the famous Best Of Suffolk Morris Minor appeared at the event showcasing the Best Of Suffolk Balloons and sparked the interrest of passes by.   

The property was a hit! lots of people enjoyed experiencing what an original 1920's period house looked like along with meeting the Best Of Suffolk team. The Vintage House is available to book for an amazing holiday in Aldeburgh or you can search our website for more suffolk holiday cottages.
